DOD medical, dental services on Tinian in Sept.
The Tinian Mayor’s Office would like to thank everyone for their input regarding a request to the U.S. Department of Defense for the military to provide medical and dental services during their upcoming exercise on Tinian this September.
The Tinian Mayor’s Office will be moving forward with the DoD application process in order to submit the application in time for the September training event. This second notice is a requirement of the DoD application process.
The mayor’s office intends to complete and submit our application by June 1 and public comments are still encouraged in response to this notification until then. It is important we receive your comments especially if there are concerns that the DoD health care, when provided, would compete with a commercial entity.
Additional information will be available in the future concerning the type of medical and dental services that will be offered, the dates and times of availability, and how to schedule once our application is approved.
