The Doro’s Alamo Dragons were slated to take on 6JMS Mafia II for the Fanihi division crown, while the Naked Fish Ridin’Darrty was to collide with the Oleai No Fear with the Flame Tree title on the line as the postseason Bud Light Cup draws to a close. Matches were being played at press time.

The Dragons clinched a finals spot in the Fanihi division after completing an 8-2 crushing of 6JMS Ta-Chagi Talo, while the Mafia escaped with an 8-7 win over the Jokers Preba Darts to earn the right of facing the Doro’s-backed squad.

Dhan Mateo, Raymond Naluz, Chris Omres, and Felix Travilla made short work of Ta-Chagi Talo’s quartet of Loyd Aldan, Lisa Calma, Rita Fital, and Peter Mendiola.

Mateor and Naluz lost the opening Partners 501 to Fitial and Mendiola, but the Dragons went on to win four straight games. Travilla dropped his matchup against Calma, but sealed the win by winning the last four matches.

The story was different in the Mafia II-Preba Darts contest with the opposing teams battling for every point and no squad gaining the clear advantage. The game was tied, 7-7, after the final Partners event.

The result of the match could go either way but Joker Camacho, Ray Cepeda, Allan Dellica, and Gilbert Gatmaitan made sure they will be on the winning end. They outlasted Josh Cabrera, Nate Castro, Keoni Pua, and Kris Yangilmau to seal a finals date with the Dragons.

The Dragons defeated Oleai Team Fearless in the first round of the eight-team field, while the Mafia eliminated Doro’s Life After Darts before clashing with Ta-Chagi Talo and Preba Darts, respectively.

The Ridin’Darrty and No Fear became the last two surviving teams after the three-week long Bud Light Cup. They disposed of their respective semifinals foes, the Jonny’s Kyodai and Naked Fish Na’Gupu.

The Ridin’Darrty quickly went to work with the pair of Boom Cruz and Nate Bermudez outlasting the tandem of Arsen Jones and Pat Togawa, while the duo of Cisco Cruz and Paul Quizon downed the Allan Cabrera-Ton Tomokane team in the opening Partners 201 event.

They never gave their opponents the chance to recover after that with their lone loss happening in the first Partners 701 event, as Bermudez and Boom Cruz fell to Jones and Togawa.

The Ridin’Darrty secured the win in the second half of the Partners 701 contest and in the first game of the Singles Half It with Boom Cruz delivering the final blow when he bested Jones.

The No Fear, after dropping the opening Partners 501 contests, won five of the next 10 matches including a sweep in the Singles Half-It.

The Ridin’Darry also defeated the Jokers Latter Sparts, while No Fear beat Naked Fish One Shot before their respective matches against Kyodai and Na’Gupu.
