The 2016 Marianas March Against Cancer got three more sponsors in time for the upcoming event starting on Friday at the Hopwood Junior High School grounds in Chalan Piao.

Island Apparel and Saipan Computer Services are title sponsors donating $3,000 worth of services, while Ambyth Shipping is a major sponsor after giving $1,000 in cash.

Geralyn C. Dela Cruz, this year’s overall committee chair, congratulated and thanked the three businesses for being the latest sponsors and getting on board in the fight against cancer.

“Their support in the fight against cancer is commendable. With the MMAC [set this weekend], the 2016 MMAC committee invites the entire community to join us as we raise badly needed funds for the battle against cancer,” said Dela Cruz.

She added that it would also be a night of fun with entertainment and raffle prizes to be given away. “There will be live entertainment, great food, and fun and games for the whole family to enjoy.”

“Purchase a luminary for only $5 to honor or remember a loved one affected by cancer. Or purchase a raffle ticket for only $5 for a chance to win round-trip tickets to the USA or Japan courtesy of title sponsor Delta Airlines. There are other great prizes available.”
