’16 MMAC teams announce fundraising events this week

The following are some fundraising events this week by different teams that will be participating in the 2016 Marianas March Against Cancer on May 13 and 14 at the Hopwood Junior High School Grounds in Chalan Piao:

-Team Lady Diann Torres Foundation/Northern Marianas College: Cinco de Mayo Happy Hour Fundraiser tonight from 5pm to 9pm at the Naked Fish Bar & Grill in Susupe. Entrance fee is $15 with live entertainment and open mic night will be giving away great raffle prizes.

-Team BSI/Chacha Lancheros: Hot Lunch Fundraiser tomorrow, May 6, from 11am to 2pm at the Minatchom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe. The menu is red rice, beef steak, sukiyaki, koko, and comes with water. Delivery is available for orders of four or more.

-Team Bodig: Coin Drive Fundraiser tomorrow, Friday, from 3:30pm to 6pm at the San Jose intersection in Beach Road.

-Team Mariana Resort & Spa/Hopwood Junior High School will have a Golf Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, May 7, at the Mariana Country Club in Marpi. Showtime is at 11am while tee-off will be an hour after. Entrance fee is $80 with the banquet to be held at the Mariana Resort’s poolside. A $25 fee for banquet guests will be collected with great raffle prizes.

-Joeten Dolphins will feature the play based on the movie Hairspray with Marianas High School students as actors and in collaboration with Friends of the Arts. The show is for three nights, from May 12 to 14 all at 6pm at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multipurpose Center in Susupe. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for FOA members, and $4 for students. Refreshments will also be sold to help fundraise for MMAC.

-Team Tan Holdings/Kagman High School: Sale of exclusive Just Beat It dri-fit shirts at $15 each that comes with one raffle ticket for a chance to win one round-trip ticket to Manila via Philippine Airlines Express. Tickets are also sold separately for $5 each. Other prizes will be given away.
