Five Star Wholesale hosts MMAC Hotdog Fundraiser
In partnership with Five Star Wholesale and Triple J Saipan, a hotdog sale fundraiser for the Marianas March Against Cancer will take place this Saturday, April 30, at the Oleai Sports Complex.
Sales will begin at 10am until 1pm throughout the Saipan Little League games among teams Ol’aces, IT&E Kagman, Twins, Comets, Pirates, and Falcons. For $4 get a Nathan’s Famous foot-long hotdog plus a bottle of water.
“This is a win-win for everyone,” Jay Santos, general manager of Five Star Wholesale stated, “Baseball, hot dogs, sunshine, and all proceeds going to an amazing cause, helping the people of the CNMI.” Five Star Wholesale, Capricciosa, Tony Roma’s, Truong’s, Hertz Rent-a-Car, and Triple J Motors are all participating in pre-event fundraising activities for MMAC. Efforts include donating $1 for every ice tea sold at Triple J restaurants, collection boxes at all Triple J businesses on Saipan, donations made for every car sold or rented, and the upcoming hotdog fundraiser this Saturday.
Triple J will be a team at this year’s MMAC 12-hour overnight marathon celebrating life, May 13 and 14 at Hopwood Junior High School. All funds raised will go toward advocating a cancer-free CNMI through early detection, public education and overall support to cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
