Since 1986, the Red Cross Walkathon has been a key fundraising event for the local NMI Chapter. The walk includes a 10K, 5K, and 2K course along with lots of fun and excitement for the whole family. Proceeds from the Walkathon are used to support mission-related humanitarian services in the CNMI.
“Despite all the suffering we lived through during Typhoon Soudelor, we are humbled by the continued generosity of the community as they support our 30th Annual Walkathon this Saturday” said board chair Tayna Belyeu-Camacho. “Hundreds of our volunteers gave back tirelessly to help those in need during Soudelor, and we thank everyone who is helping us through their participation in this year’s 30th anniversary event said Belyeu-Camacho.
