DFS, IT&E donate over $5,000 to NMC Foundation Golf Tournament

In their support for the students of the CNMI, DFS Saipan and IT&E recently donated $5,250 to the NMC Foundation. Their donation is in support of the 12th Annual Foundation Open golf tournament that will be held this weekend on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

DFS Saipan contributed over $1,750 worth of designer bags and wallets, and an additional $1,000.

IT&E donated $2,500 worth of gift certificates as well.

The donation is part of the company’s sponsorship of the Foundation’s 13th Annual Foundation Golf Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016.

The NMC Foundation is composed of community volunteers committed to the advancement of opportunities in support of higher education for students in the CNMI. The golf tournament is the NMC Foundation’s signature event that raises funds to support NMC’s academic programs and services.

The 13th Annual Foundation Open Golf Tournament will be held at the Saipan Laolao Bay Golf & Resort west course with a shotgun start of 7am and will follow a medal play format. There will be six separate flight categories: Championship, A, B. C, Seniors, and Ladies.

The entrance fee is $100 per player. Payments for the entrance fee can be made at the Laolao Bay Golf & Resort and the NMC Cashier.

Tournament prizes for first place is $500, second place is $300, and third place is $200 for each of the six flights. Hole-in-one prizes include a $5,000 donation by Pacifica Insurance and two roundtrip tickets worth over $4,000 to Japan and the U.S. sponsored by Delta Airlines.
