14 food, 3 beverage vendors confirmed for Taste of the Marianas

The 18thAnnual Taste of the Marianas International Food Festival & Beer Garden will be held every Saturday evening during May 2016 in celebration of Tourism Month.
The Marianas Visitors Authority has confirmed 14 food and three beverage vendors for the event at American Memorial Park, which features international cuisine at affordable prices from local hotels and restaurant vendors, non-stop live entertainment on the main stage, nightly contests on the secondary stage, and arts and crafts sales. The festival will be held from 6pm to 10pm each Saturday (closing at 11pm on the final night).
“As the MVA celebrates its 40thanniversary this year, we look forward to again hosting the Taste of the Marianas in May for our visitors and local community,” said MVA Community Projects manager Martin Duenas. “It’s a proven recipe of great food and great entertainment, and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors and residents, alike.”
Participating food vendors will be Coral Ocean PointResort, D’Elegance, Fiesta Resort& Spa, Furusato Restaurant, Herman’s Modern Bakery, Hula Girl, Hyatt RegencySaipan, Kanoa Resort, Mariana Resort & Spa, Matty’s BBQ, Sierra’s Pearl Shakes, Thai House Restaurant, Tony Roma’s/Capricciosa, and Tropical Chill.
Beverage vendors will be MARPAC, Northern Marianas Bartenders Association, and Pacific Trading Co.
May Tourism Month will also be marked by the semi-annual Tourism Industry Cleanup led by Japan Saipan Travel Association on April 23 before Japan’s Golden Week holiday. Residents are also encouraged to show their support by observing “Hafa Adai Tirow Spirit” Islandwear Fridays and trying their luck with Tourism Trivia at participating radio stations.
