Bibliophile or bookworms are going to have a field day as a total of 486 books and other items can now be checked out at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library. The items cater to a wide range of readers and library regulars.

JKPL library assistant and front circulation supervisor Ray Deleon Guerrero Jr. led in cataloging the new items that children, teens, and adults would surely enjoy.

Because A Little Bug Went Ka-Choo an animated storybook by Dr. Seuss, Laura Numeroff’s Monster Munchies, Go Dog Go by American screenwriter and children’s book author P.D. Eastman, Alive! A Valentino Mystery by detective and Western fiction writer Loren D. Estleman, James D. best’s The Return: A Steve Dancy Tale, Gunfire Man: A Western Trio by L.L. Foreman, The Man God Uses by the father-son tandem of Henry and Tom Blackaby, and Elizabeth Falkner’s Cooking Off The Clock for home cooks are just some of the new books in JKPL’s collection.

The Count of Monte Cristo, Bedazzled, and Beyond The gates Of Splendor are the new DVDs in their collection aside from the latest issues of popular magazines.

JKPL said informing the public of what are the new items in the library is part of their literacy program and to encourage people, especially the kids, to enjoy reading more books instead of playing with their gadgets.

They also have their daily book sale. The JKPL is open from 10am to 6pm Tuesdays to Fridays and 9am to 4pm every Saturday.
