Triple J to break ground on new housing dev’t
Saipan Comfort Homes will have 40 two-bedroom units
Saipan Comfort Homes, LLC will break ground on 40 two-bedroom residential units today, April 5. The residential units are just within walking distance of the Northern Marianas College in Dandan Village.
This large-scale, community-based project comes at an opportune time, as housing options on Saipan are increasingly limited due to damage from Typhoon Soudelor and growth on the island.
An independent market survey completed by Hawaii-based Data@Work has illustrated that there is a strong demand for affordable housing in the area. In addition, discussions with representatives from Northern Marianas Housing Corp., Northern Marianas College, Commonwealth Development Authority, and Department of Commerce’s Division of Central Statistics also point to the same conclusion.
Dan Murrell, senior vice president of Triple J Enterprises states, “The Triple J family of companies is pleased bring another quality housing development at affordable prices to Saipan. Typhoon shutters, backup generators, water reservoir, and sports area with club house complement the large, two-bedroom, two-bath homes that will be available for lease in less than a year.”
Every unit comes fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, reverse osmosis system, air-conditioner, and ceiling fans. Saipan Comfort Homes is conveniently located near a large workforce environment, churches, a high school, shopping centers, and a medical clinic.
