MANGO to offer 2-day non-profit management training
The Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations, Inc. is pleased to invite all non-profit organizations in the CNMI to register for the two-day Non-Profit Management Training by the deadline of Friday, March 10, 2016.
The Non-Profit Management Training is the latest series of capacity building being made available by MANGO, the umbrella organization for all NMI non-profits, in partnership with OMHRC (Office of Minority Health & Resources Center) based in San Francisco, CA and headquartered in Washington, D.C.
Seating is limited to the first 30 registered participants. Completed registration forms must be submitted no later than Friday, March 10, 2016, and emailed to: ayudanet1@ayuda-cnmi.org.
The training will be held over two days, Monday and Tuesday, March 14-15, 2016, at the Kanoa Resort, from 8:30am to 4pm. MANGO was chartered and licensed by the CNMI Corporate Registrar in December 2010, and is the umbrella entity for all NGOs in the NMI and is an associate member of the regional Pacific Coalition. The Office of Minority Health was created in 1986, and was reauthorized by the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in 2010. The mission of the Office of Minority Health is to improve the health of racial and ethnic minority populations through the development of health policies and programs that will eliminate health disparities in response to the Heckler Report. The Office of Minority Health Resource Center was created in 1987. It is the nation’s largest repository of information on health disparities issues.
