GMS shines anew in recent competitions

Green Meadow School Kinder 5 to 3rd Grade students competed in the recent Math Court Competition held in Koblerville Elementary School last Feb. 6 with outstanding results.
Kinder 5:
1st Place: Isabella Mallari and Marvie Angelique Llaga
2nd Place: Neliza Nicole Acaba
3rd Place: Mark Justin Lagado
First grade:
1st Place: Yel Khalil Ocampo
2nd Place: Justin Mallari
3rd Palce: Vimarie Alna Alfeche and Paula Angela Bernardo
Third Grade:
2nd Place: Arro Solana Hunter, Jasmyne Tolentino and Chealzka Navarro
Fourth to Sixth Grades Division: Aljanah Manabat, 6th and Nicole Sacramento, 4th grade are qualifiers for the Regional Competitions.
During the NJSDA competition in Dandan Middle School last Jan. 23, our 6th graders though only three joined were able to win. Rownel Jody Coloma won 2nd place both in Storytelling and Humorous Interpretation. Eonzen Dela Paz and Earl Lawrence Salamat placed 4th in Duo Interpretation.
Southern High School National Honor Society hosted the Middle School Academic Challenge Bowl last Jan. 30. GMS’ 6th grade students competed and gave the other competitors a good fight. Aljanah Manabat, Rayven Daca, Ashley Palacios, Rownel Jody Coloma, and Angeline Norcio represented the school and proved that they may be the youngest yet a group to look forward to.
