Coral Reef Initiative offers summer internships

The CNMI Coral Reef Initiative is looking for 10 CNMI-based college students, or college-bound high school graduates with an interest in learning more about coral reef resource management. The summer interns work 20 hours a week between June and August (dates to be determined) and are paid $8 per hour. This summer’s internship opportunities will include:

• Coral Reef and Sea Grass Monitoring

• Sea Turtle Monitoring

• Community Education and Outreach

• Fisheries Research

• Enforcement

• Marine Protected Area Management and Outreach

• Resume/CV

• Transcripts (unofficial transcripts are ACCEPTABLE)

• Two Letters of Recommendation (instructors and/or employers only)

• Police Clearance (within the LAST 3 MONTHS)

• Copy of Photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.)

The deadline to submit your application materials is March 31, 2016.
