The organizer of UB40’s concert for Guam and Saipan said it will happen but no date has been finalized yet.

The earlier scheduled concert that was supposed to be held today in Guam and on Saturday on Saipan is ultimately postponed.

“The concerts previously announced and scheduled for Guam and Saipan for this week have been postponed until further notice,” organizer Steven Brownstein Entertainment said in an announcement.

“The concerts will happen as we’re currently negotiating the final details in regards to flights, logistics, and other important matters to ensure these successful events,” it added.

However, no final date was announced by SBE as of yesterday’s announcement.

“At this time we are confirmed for next week however existing flight availability accompanied with the unexpected time frame to transport necessary band equipment could ultimately determine a later date,” SBE said.

SBE gave options to their customers with regards to their purchased tickets.

Existing tickets, including winning and complimentary tickets, will still be honored, but those who no longer wish to see the concert, refunds are offered at the exact location the ticket was purchased.

“This is for Guam customers as Saipan customers have already been offered refunds from our participating ticket outlets,” SBE said.

SBE added that General Admission and VIP tickets are still available for purchase at any existing participating ticket outlets on Guam and Saipan.

“Once more we understand that this announcement is delayed and we apologize for this. We only look forward to giving our fans good news so an announcement of anything but positive would not be newsworthy at all,” SBE said.

SBE added that they have been working tirelessly for the concert to push through.

“As anxious as you all are, note that your SBE Team has been anxiously working around the clock to make the UB40 concerts in Guam and Saipan a reality,” SBE said.
