GCA student in the International Thespian Festival

Paula Rose Talibong, Grace Christian Academy’s only senior thespian participant, is one of the members of the CNMI Senior Thespian Team.
The top winners in this school year’s Senior Thespians regional competition held last Feb. 6 at Northern Marianas International School will have the opportunity to compete at the International Thespian Festival on June 20-25, 2016, in Lincoln, Nebraska. Every summer, thousands of high schools Thespians bring their love of all things theatre to the International Thespian Festival, a celebration of student achievement in the performing arts.
Talibong, who won first place twice in solo musical theater for the last two monthly competitions, was shocked because she did not expect to be one of the team. She just wanted to know how she ranks that is why she patiently waited for the results even though it is already late when they announce the winners. Her family was very happy and proud of her especially her dad who is also her mentor. Her GCA family (both the school and the church) is also very proud of her. Talibong is a member of the GCA Navy Hill church worship team as a guitarist and backup singer. (PR)
