Hyatt Charity Golf Classic set for April 23
Hyatt Regency Saipan is pleased to announce that the 20th Annual Hyatt Regency Saipan Charity Golf Classic will be held on April 23.
All golfers are invited to register. This year’s event marks a very special occasion as it is the 20th anniversary of the competition. Overtime, the Charity Golf Classic has built a reputation as being one of the most enjoyable events held on the island and has continually evolved with ever-growing support from sponsors, players and volunteer associate.
This year the tournament will be held at LaoLao Bay Golf and Resort’s west course, known as the “more challenging” of the two courses at the resort showcasing Saipan’s lush greenery. The recipients of the proceeds from the 20th Anniversary Charity Golf Classic will be formally announced on Feb. 23.
There has been an addition flight category—Championship (HDCP 0-5) bringing the total to six categories (A, B, C, Seniors and Ladies D. Peoria). The format of the tournament, nevertheless, will be the same; the lowest individual scores will count for prizes to be awarded for champion, first runner-up and second runner-up in each of the flight categories.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation has partnered with the Charity Golf Classic for many years being a recipient of the fundraiser in supporting the fulfillment of wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses.
As we proudly remember in 2014, in collaboration with sponsors and golfers, Hyatt Regency Saipan was able to help raise $40,000 which was donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and two other non-profit organizations—the The Ayuda Network and the CNMI Salvation Army to further support the local community.
On April 23, it is another opportunity for us to come together and test our or your golf caliber on the 18-hole course in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and another local nonprofit community member. Mark your calendar and register for the island’s most enjoyable golf tournament—the 20th Annual Hyatt Regency Saipan Charity Golf Classic. (PR)
