SI-NMI Program meeting will highlight Saipan Cares for Animals

Share

Soroptimist International-Northern Mariana Islands meets quarterly with another local organization to learn more about what they do, and about how our organizations may benefit one another. This month we highlight Saipan Cares for Animals. This organization is a dedicated group of volunteers whose mission is to improve the life of every animal on Saipan through socialization, medication and sterilization.

Working with the Saipan Mayor’s Office and the Humane Society International, SCFA wants to humanely control the animal population of Saipan through spaying and neutering. They work toward providing affordable health care to pet owners. And work on educating the public on the proper care of their pets.

If you are interested in adopting, volunteering or donating, please contact SCFA at 670-789-9464. And if you’d like to donate to Saipan Cares for Animals, please visit https://www.gofundme.com/SaipanCares.

Saving one animal won’t change the world, but the world will change for that one animal!

A buffet lunch will be held on Thursday, Jan. 28, at Giovanni’s Restaurant in Hyatt Regency. Advance reservations are required. Cost is $20 per person. Tickets are available by contacting Jill Arenovski at 287-9395 or by contacting any member of SINMI.
