The Jokers Puntan I Langit made short work of the Doro’s C-Busters, 11-4, in the C Division match of last week’s Bud Light-Saipan Electronic Darts Association Winter/Spring 2016 season held in various bars on the island.

Puntan I Langit won eight of the first nine games to wrap up the contest and seal its 77th victory against 28 defeats. The Sally Aguon-captained squad now enjoys a 14-win lead over closest pursuer Jokers C-Spartans (63-42), while the C-Busters dropped to 41-64 for sixth place.

The Blue Koi Managaha Boyz is in third at 59-46, followed by sister team Team Dartcom’s 54-51 slate, while the Doro’s Mixed Nuts is at fifth (49-56). The Jokers Dart It (40-65) and the Jokers DNA Jump It (37-68) complete the standings.

Games are race to eight but all 15 matches need to be played since each win and loss are added to the team’s records to determine the division champion.

Puntan I Langit’s eighth win came from Noke Rogopes, who defeated Sam Gonzales in the first singles regular cricket event.

In other games, the Managaha Boyz and Just Dart It pulled off similar 9-6 decisions over the Mixed Nuts and Team Dartcom, respectively, while the Spartans cruised to a 13-2 win over DNA Jump It.
