The Aqua Resort Club premiered their beachside bar, Michelle’s Beach Bar, with premium cocktails, spirits, a buffet and sunset views for a refreshing getaway last Saturday.
The bar’s grand opening was a welcome escape from the island’s catastrophic weather in the last few months.
Food and beverage manager Rom Manzon said that Michelle’s caters to anyone looking for a cozy or romantic beachside style of dining.
“This is completely new. We started [construction] in July but when the typhoon came it broke one of the counters but we finally repaired it,” he said.
Living up to its relaxing atmosphere overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the bar’s beachfront wooden deck faces the sandy shores of the northern part of the island with cushioned seating and shaded areas for comfort.
Michelle’s beach bar features a line of premium beverages such as Skyy Vodka, Jack Daniel’s, Silver Patron, Miller Lite, Stella Artois and Kona beers. Patrons are also welcome to try their $4 signature cocktails not found anywhere else.
For those looking to quench their thirst and tame their hunger, the beach bar brings tempting chicken kelaguen and deep-fried chasers.
“I’m inviting everybody, from couples to friends and anybody who wants to relax and see the beautiful scenery of the Achugao area. We are promoting this also as a party venue with custom menus,” Manzon said.
For the upcoming New Year’s Eve revelry, patrons are invited to watch a 30-minute firework show at the beachside bar.
The bar is open from 10am to 8:30pm Monday to Sunday, with happy hour from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. For more information or for reservations call 322-1234.
