Temporary water outages yesterday
Multiple issues were causing temporary water outages for Commonwealth Utilities Corp. customers in San Roque, Tanapag, Chalan Laulau and portions of Chalan Galaide yesterday.
CUC customers along Beach Road and Chalan Pale Arnold from Quartermaster Road and Gualo Rai Road did not receive water service while service to customers along Beach Road and Chalan Pale Arnold between Chalan Monsignor Guerrero and Quartermaster Road was interrupted at 1pm due to low water levels inside of the Kannat Tabla reservoir.
Limiting service to the affected areas will allow the water levels to recover overnight and lead to the resumption of regularly scheduled service today, Dec. 22.
Customers in portions of Chalan Galaide had no water for the remainder of the day as crews addressed mechanical issues with a booster pump at the Calhoun reservoir. Repair crews were addressing the issue and were expected to begin testing; water service will be restored to the area affected area this morning.
Customers in San Roque and Tanapag were also without water for the remainder of the day as crews replace a leaking valve and repair two line breaks. Service to the affected areas will resume today, Dec. 22. (CUC)
