GCA parents support competitions

Share

Grace Christian Academy’s No. 1 practice plan for their students for the Primary Grades Forensic Conference is: Practice with my parents every day. GCA acknowledges the partnership of their students’ parents as stated in their mission statement, “Grace Christian Academy exists to partner with the home to produce vibrant, confident, and loving students…”

Eucele Pagaduan, who has 3rd grade and Kindergarten 5 children at GCA, supports the PGFC by helping her child memorize and practice her piece at home despite her busy schedule. Her Kinder 5 daughter, Elianne Nerisse Pagaduan, is a consistent winner in all her events since she joined the PGFC competition last November.

Paula Rose Talibong, the only GCA Senior Thespian competitor, won first place in the December qualifying competition. She credited her vocal talent to her dad, Rey Talibong, who has been coaching her since she was young. Rey Talibong is also willing to coach other GCA students in the singing competition.

GCA recognizes the crucial role of parents in helping their child not only in academics, but also in extracurricular activities such as PGFC and Thespian competitions. The teachers and administration of GCA are very thankful for all the support from the parents.

GCA is also proud of all their PGFC and Thespian participants and say thank to the teachers, judges, and student volunteers for all their help. Below is the list of all the GCA PGFC and Thespian winners who competed last Dec. 5, 2015, at Green Meadows School.
