TCF Saipan thanks supporters

The Compassionate Friends of Saipan would like to thank all people who planned, donated to, attended, supported or participated in our Candle Lighting event on Sunday, Dec. 13.

This was the 4th Annual Candle Lighting Remembrance Program on Saipan, and was a part of The Compassionate Friends’ 19th Annual Worldwide Candle Lighting Service. About 100 candles were lit in remembrance of those who were “gone too soon.”  Over 60 children and siblings were honored with a candle and gentle memories by their loved ones.

The group specifically thanks the Department of Lands and Natural Resources, Division of Parks & Recreation, Marianas Variety, Saipan Tribune, Tina Palacios and Sorensen Media Saipan, Jillian Angeline and KSPN Channel 2, R.V. Caberos and KWAW – Magic 100.3 FM, Gary Sword and KKMP, Larry and Kui Lee for their wonderful music, Thomas Lee A. Manglona II and the the National Honor Society of Mt. Carmel school for their invaluable assistance, John Fraser, Jim Arenovski, Whispering Palms School, Lorna Arcega and family, and Reps. Ray Tebuteb, BJ Attao, and Edmund Villagomez.

The program included two video presentations, painstakingly composed by Dr. Nelson Krum; they can be viewed on You Tube.  To view, search for “Compassionate Friends Saipan.”
