Young professionals invited to SYP Christmas party on Dec. 12
The Saipan Young Professionals Committee will be hosting a “Hafa Adai Christmas Party” on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 5:30pm at the Barefoot Bar of Kanoa Resort. The committee would like to invite all young professionals on island to attend the event.
The luau-themed evening will include a sunset buffet dinner, entertainment, exciting raffle prizes, games and more.
The highlight of the event will be an awards ceremony honoring outstanding SYP members who have contributed their time and efforts toward making a positive difference at work and in their community.
“We are excited to recognize a few SYP members who exemplify leadership at the young professional level,” says SYP chair Mable Ayuyu.
She said the committee hopes that other young professionals will be inspired and motivated to follow in the footsteps of up-and-coming leaders.
“There are many young leaders who are active members in our community that most may not know. This is our way of showing our islands that there are young leaders that strive to make our islands an even better place,” said Ayuyu.
She also points out that throughout the year, the committee has looked up to experienced leaders who are members of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, the largest private business organization in the CNMI.
“We’ve had a successful year filled with opportunities to be educated, to network and to give back to our community,” she said. “We’re excited for the year to come and hope that we can encourage an inclusive network of young professionals with a common goal to continue to make a positive difference for our islands.”
During the event, the committee will also be donating to the Karidat Christmas Toy Drive.
