Hyatt Regency Saipan Tree Lighting
Hyatt’s annual tree lighting ceremony will be held today, Dec. 1 at 6pm. Performances by the Koblerville Elementary School Umang Glee Club will begin at 5:45pm at the hotel entrance followed by the tree lighting at 6pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Mount Carmel School’s Theatre Club featuring Guam Territorial Band
Mount Carmel School’s Theatre Club presents a musical production titled White Christmas featuring jazz hits from the Guam Territorial Band on Dec. 4, Friday, and Dec. 5, Saturday, at the Saipan World Resort. Doors open at 6:30pm. Ticket prices are $25 for premium seats, $10 for preferred seats, and $5 for general admission. For more information, call 234-6184.

Steven Brownstein Entertainment
Grammy-nominated rapper Petey Pablo featuring Bubba Sparxxx will be performing on Dec. 11 at Godfather’s Bar. Available space is limited. Tickets are on sale now for $25 at Godfather’s Bar.

Glushko’s Academy
A Christmas ballet concert by Glushko’s Academy will be held on Dec. 13 at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center. Show starts at 6pm and tickets can be purchased by calling 483-6271 or at the door, $5 for children, and $10 for adults.

Mormon Tabernacle Choir
The public is invited to enjoy three remaining Christmas shows featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and other special guests at the Church of Latter Day Saints on Middle Road in Chalan Laulau. Dec. 6 will feature “Once Upon a Christmas” with Jane Seymour and Nathan Gunn; Dec. 13 will feature “Home for the Holidays” with Alfie Boe and Tom Brokaw; and Dec. 20 will feature “Keep Christmas with You” with The Muppets from Sesame Street and Santino Fontana from Frozen. Each show is 90 minutes long and will begin at 6pm. Admission is free.
The Manta Band and Saipan Pacific Winds
Titled “A Most Wonderful Christmas Concert,” the Manta Ray Band and Saipan Pacific Winds have paired up for a showcase on Dec. 18 at the Pedro P. Tenorio Multi-Purpose Center. Tickets are available at the door for $5 general admission.

Christmas on the Puti’on Saipan
Saipan Sea Ventures Puti’on Saipan is holding special local Fridays on Dec. 4, 11, 18, and 25. Enjoy the beautiful Saipan sunset with dinner, live entertainment, sing-alongs, meet-and-greet with Santa, cookie decorating and raffles. Paskong Pinoy
The United Filipino Organization is now preparing for its annual Paskong Pinoy or Filipino Christmas to be held at the parking lot of the Marianas Business Plaza on Dec. 20.
