Hyatt Regency Saipan invites community members to kick off the holiday season this Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, with a family fun carnival and evening movie by the beach. This year marks a special occasion for the hotel as it will be celebrating its 35 year presence in Saipan.

“The smiles and repeat visits are what we are known for and if we can do it for 35 years, what’s another 35 more years of continued island hospitality,” said Hyatt general manager Nick Nishikawa.

The 35th anniversary festivity begins this weekend, Nov. 28, 2015 from 2pm to 6pm on the garden grounds. There will be classic carnival games and yummy treats such as spin the wheel, ring toss, gone fishing, face painting, and much more to make an afternoon to remember. To end the night, we will host a movie on our beachfront by Disney Pixar, Inside Out, at 6:30pm so don’t forget to pack your beach chair!

Following, the family fun carnival will be the annual tree lighting ceremony on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015, at 6pm. Performance by the Koblerville Elementary School Umang Glee Club will commence at 5:45pm in the hotel entrance. The Make-A-Wish Foundation children and their families will attend and we invite the public to join in the festivity. The tree lighting is at 6pm followed by live entertainment in the Lobby Lounge.

The anniversary celebration continues on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, with an evening soiree from 6pm to 9pm, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan garden, in collaboration with sponsors who have been our loyal partners for the last 35 years. It will feature special foods, wines and spirit pairings. Hyatt thanks their loyal partners for their continued support. The price for the event will be $35 per person and $25 for Club at the Hyatt members and their guests.

Also celebrating Hyatt Regency Saipan’s grand milestone of 35 years of professional service are three outstanding team members: Hinami Tarkong, the late Delfin Florendo and Mihir Rout. Together, we commemorate our harmonious relationship. (Hyatt)
