Kan Pacific, Best Sunshine negotiating

Let’s focus on that possibility. I play golf at Kan Pacific and so do many local golfers—more than a thousand-plus. After Typhoon Soudelor devastated the island, Kan Pacific is slowly trying to rehabilitate the golf course. The thing is, it needed rehabilitation even before the typhoon struck. Maybe, just maybe, if Best Sunshine and Kan Pacific negotiate, and BSI takes over or partners with Kan Pacific. They can build a water park and rehabilitate the golf course into a professional one. It will benefit the local community as we do a lot of golf events for medical referral, community charity, etc. Remember, golf courses around the world are high-end tourist destinations and, with a water park added, it will be a win-win investment venture.

I have to point out, though, that Marianas Country Club is the only golf course offering local rates to local golfers. All the other golf courses have managed to get rid the conditions placed upon their lease on public lands when those golf courses were first built and how they did away with it is “magic.”

I support whatever is the best way to make use of our public lands that can benefit our community. I also thank Kan Pacific for keeping our local rates in place through these trying times.
