Learn how to participate in ‘Rocky Horror’ tomfoolery

Share

On Saturday, Nov. 14, the Friends of the Arts will be presenting The Rocky Horror Picture Show on the Navy Hill baseball field at 10pm and midnight.

Audience participation is part of the fun! There will be an audience section for those who wish to participate in the “Rocky Horror” way. This section will be separate from the normal audience for their safety. For those who don’t know what this entails, there will be a workshop tonight, Nov. 13, at 6pm in the Dolphin Theatre inside the Marianas High School campus, sponsored by The MHS Theatre Club. We will set you on the path of “Rocky Horror” participation! A novice starter kit will be on Sale for a nominal fee.

For “Rocky Horror” old-timers, we cannot do confetti (biodegradable trix would work); no flames (phone lights should work); no toast, no playing cards, and throwing hotdogs, prunes, etc. is a no-no! The rest—rice, toilet paper, water pistol (not super soakers—and, yes, you could get wet), newspaper, rubber gloves, noisemakers, party hats, and bells are OK. (FOA)
