Rotary Club inducts Imperial Pacific’s Tao Xing
Imperial Pacific International Holdings Lt. vice president for corporate services and communications, Tao Xing, became Rotary’s newest member yesterday during their weekly membership meeting at the Hyatt Regency Saipan.
According to Rotary Club president Curtis Dancoe, Tao will be placed under the entertainment services for Rotary.

In an effort to build the company’s community service ability, Tao says, “If there’s any need, we want to be part of the solution. We want to leverage thousands of volunteers.”
Recognizing the various needs of the community and its limited resources, Tao added, “This is for the purpose of employment, the environment and the revival of the culture.”
Tao also asked the Rotarians to help him draft Imperial Pacific’s vision and goals for the CNMI.
Imperial Pacific is the mother company of exclusive casino licensee Best Sunshine International, Ltd.
“We talked about putting Saipan in the top 10 of travel destinations. We need to find inspiring goals so we have a lot of work to do,” he said.
Last week Rotary inducted five members, namely Triple J Saipan constructions operations manager Mario Valentino, retired engineer Steven Connor, Imperial Pacific public relations director David Largent, Micronesian Legal Services Corp. executive director Lee Pliscou, and Imperial Pacific corporate vice president Mary Mendoza.
“It is our duty as Rotarians to continue to induct new members to strengthen our community,” Dancoe said.
