Saipan Little League meeting this Wednesday
The current officials of the Saipan Little League Board Inc. are again reminding all of its members to attend Wednesday’s meeting, Oct. 28, at 5pm at the pavilion beside the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Managers, coaches, and assistant coaches who were selected to the CNMI All-Star teams are encouraged to attend.
All managers and coaching staff who handled teams last season are also being invited to the meeting along with all the parents of players.
SLLBI officials are trying to hold an election for a new set of board members, who will then vote among themselves to fill the seven positions—president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, chief statistician, player agent, and safety officer.
The new president will then preside on all board meetings in order to plan the 2016 Saipan Little League season. A member must be present to be elected to the board.
The SLLBI was supposed to have an election last Saturday but outgoing president Ben Jones called off the proceedings as only less than 20 members attended the 10am meeting.
This was the third time the election was postponed the first time was on Oct. 10 due to lack of voting members and on Oct. 16 due to Typhoon Champi.
Jones is suggesting that each member should bring one or two for tomorrow’s meeting.
