Dickinson is one of the 28 players listed on the College of the Desert’s lineup for the 2015-2016 season. The team known as Roadrunners competes against several community colleges in California and in the Foothill Conference.

“I’m red-shirting this season. I’m adjusting to college level play pretty well,” the Saipan Southern High School graduate said.

The 19-year-old player is the College of the Desert’s goalkeeper and one of the many rookies on the squad coached by former El Salvador youth national team member Jose Pipo Castillo.

“I’m doing great. My teammates and coaches are always there to push me to my limits, which I think every player needs so they will be the best. I learned a lot just after Day 1 with the program and every day, I continue to learn more things and strive to become a better player,” Dickinson added.

Before making it to College of the Desert, Dickinson last suited up for the CNMI National Team that played against Sensyu University and Japan Soccer College early this year. He was also part of the Ayuyus, who recorded a historic win against Macau, 2-1, in the Preliminary Round 1 of the 2015 EAFF East Asian Cup in Guam in July last year.

The long-time Paire Football Club member was on the CNMI U15 National Team, too. Dickinson and company competed in the 2011 East Asian Football Federation U15 Youth Tournament in Chinese-Taipei and handed the Commonwealth its first-ever victory in an international competition after topping Macau, 2-1.

With his inclusion on the Roadrunners roster, Dickinson became one of the several CNMI players who got a chance to play in the collegiate level, joining Enrico Del Rosario, Bo Barry, Lucas Knecht, and John Taisacan.
