With so many damaged homes still in need of repair, the Pacific Century Fellows–Marianas Chapter, a leadership development program cohort modeled after the Pacific Century Fellows of Hawaii, is holding a 5K “Back On Our Feet” run/walk/roll event on Saturday, Oct. 3. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to CNMI C.A.R.E. (CNMI Advocates for Recovery Efforts) to rebuild homes damaged or destroyed by Typhoon Soudelor.

Registration for the 5K, which will take place on the grounds of Garapan Fishing Base (right across Kristo Rai Church), begins at 5am. The 5K itself begins at 6am from the Garapan Public Market to Quartermaster, and will conclude with raffle prizes. Minors under 18 must have adult supervision.

Runners, walkers, and rollers are welcome.

The registration is $15 cash/check per participant and will include a free event T-shirt and raffle ticket.

Participants can pre-register for the event by picking up forms from the following outlets: JP Center (1st floor), Century Hotel, and Shirley’s Coffee Shop (Susupe).
