Potable (drinking) water for human consumption is being distributed from the Micro Beach Pavilion at American Memorial Park beginning yesterday, Aug. 24, 2015. Water will be distributed Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 8:30am.

This water distribution point is for families only. Water will not be distributed to businesses or commercial facilities.

Only food safe containers will be accepted at the water distribution point and 5-gallon water bottles with a cap are preferred. No water drums, buffalos, or other bulk containers will be accepted. Families are responsible for sanitizing containers prior to arrival at distribution point. A maximum of four, 5-gallon bottles per family may be filled. Daily distributions will be limited to 150 families per day.

At the entrance to the water distribution point, families will be issued a numbered ticket that must be surrendered to the water distribution agent prior to receiving water. Tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Failure to provide the issued ticket will result in refusal of filling bottles. Also, loss of the issued ticket will result in refusal of filling bottles. Upon completion of filling water bottles, families and vehicles must leave the water distribution area immediately. (NPS)
