Sheh Bertram joins Bank of Hawaii as Sr. executive VP, information officer
HONOLULU—Sheh Bertram will join Bank of Hawaii as senior executive vice president and chief information officer on Sept. 14. She will be responsible for all areas of information technology, including businesses application management, distributed system support, business intelligence and information security. She will also be responsible for corporate sourcing, vendor management and the bank’s proect office. In addition, Bertram will serve on the bank’s Managing Committee, which currently has 14 members.
She joins Bank of Hawaii after 18 years of technology leadership with Zions Bancorporation, serving as its chief technology officer since 2011. Prior to Zions, Bertram held a variety of technology roles with Hughes Aircraft, Xerox Corp., Liberty Mutual Insurance, and First Security Bank.
Throughout her career, she has been champion for diversity in the workplace, and a strong advocate of employee education and career development. She was recognized with the Technology Excellence Award from the Salt Lake City Women’s Tech Council in 2012 for “making an impact in technology, adding jobs to the local economy, mentoring young people and contributing to the community.”
Bertram earned a bachelor’s of science degree from UCLA in applied mathematics with an emphasis in computer science.
