Docomo Pacific, in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is enabling customers to make free long distance phone calls from Saipan to FEMA to register for disaster assistance. Residents can register with FEMA through voice call, online at the DisasterAssistance.gov website, or directly from their smartphones at the m.fema.gov website.

When registering for disaster assistance, callers will need to provide their Social Security number, address, phone number where they can be contacted, insurance information, and other personal data. The registration process can take up to an hour to complete. (telecompaper.com)
