Eventual champion Guam had four players entering the list to showcase their dominance while Palau, another visiting team, occupied three more.
Arceo collected a total of 70 points in the four games he played in the elimination round to finish with a 17.5 average. He highlighted that performance with a 24-point output in the Dolphins’ 103-47 crushing of the Marianas Tataga last July 14.
Palau’s shifty forwards M.J. Baysa and Wallace Worswick came in tied for second to third each averaging 15.3 points per game.
Worswick also scored the most points in the tournament when he erupted for 31 markers in Palau’s 108-60 demolition of the Marianas Alu’u in their battle for third last Saturday.
Omar Ganac, Palau’s crafty playmaker, was next on the list behind his teammates with a 13.3 average followed by two Guam players.
Guam big man DeAndre Cruz was fifth on the list with 12.8 points a game with Napu San Luis a close sixth with a 12.5 scoring average.
Dalton Dancoe was seventh on the list with 12.0 with Guam guards Michael Min and Gabriel Simon occupying the eighth and ninth spots with averages of 11.3 and 10.3 points, respectively.
The Dolphins’ Jun Alipio completed the Top 10 list with a 9.5 points per outing average.
Arceo and Worswick also led the Mythical Team Selection list and were joined by Guam’s Aishea Grape, Bud Jason Norita of the Alu’u and Matthew Richardson of the Tataga.
