Fee waivers for NMC Tinian Cash for College workshop participants

Individuals who participate in the Northern Marianas College’s upcoming “Cash for College” workshop on Tinian will qualify to receive fee waivers for the NMC admissions application fee and placement test fees which is a savings of $75.
The free workshop will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012, at the NMC Tinian Instructional Site in Room D. The workshop will be an ongoing session, so participants can stop by any time between 9am and 1pm.
The aim of this workshop is to assist students and their parents in maximizing scholarship opportunities that are available to students seeking to obtain a college education.
Participants will also be provided with personal, step-by-step assistance in completing college financial aid forms, focusing especially on forms for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, the Tinian Municipal Scholarship, the CNMI Scholarship, and more.
It is recommended that workshop participants bring a valid form of identification (e.g., a valid U.S. passport, copy of valid application for a U.S. passport, birth certificate, or green card), an official transcript from their high school, tax forms, and proof of CNMI residency for 2010 and 2011, including proof of continuing residency.
