Camacho, who earned an impressive first round knockout win over Japan’s Kengo Ura in last Friday’s PXC 49 in Guam, through his sponsor CARS PLUS will facilitate the shipment of a 20-foot container carrying basic necessities for typhoon victims on Saipan.

“Right now, we are busy collecting and loading stuff like food, water, clothing, and other basic necessities from our various donors and other concerned individuals. Once the container is full, it will be sent to Saipan. We’re hoping the shipment will be able to reach Saipan in a week from now,” said Camacho, who dedicated his PXC victory to Saipan.

“My heart goes to the families who are affected by the typhoon. I know they are in a very difficult situation, but help is on the way. Let us just work together and help each other,” the 26-year-old MMA fighter said.

He added he will be on Saipan when the shipment arrives to help distribute the goods to the victims.

Camacho also welcomes Guam residents who want to send goods to their family members on Saipan.

“They can reach me for more information via Facebook or my Instagram account. They can leave a message anytime so we can work out the arrangement for the pickup and delivery of their packages,” the lightweight fighter said.

Saipan bore the brunt of Typhoon Soudelor last Aug. 2 when it made landfall on the island and left hundreds of people homeless and thousands without power and water.
