A $19 trillion gift horse or an idiot mentality

Share

Yes, the marijuana industry—with businesses now being called “cannabusinesses” (cannabis industry business)—is no longer projected in billions but is projected to be the biggest financial transformation in America since the Internet and is projected to be worth more than the Internet by 2019, at a value of $19 trillion! The cartels are already complaining about losing the marijuana business to states! This is the true reality of the gift horse we are staring in the face with legalization. I used the term idiot for those who are against trying legalization because that is what they are calling presidential candidate Gov. Chris Christie, the newfound drug warrior who everyone knows is too late to stop pot. I’m just glad to know there are leaders on the Hill who are not idiots and know we must try legalization when it is as simple as accepting the gift and freedom to pursue legalization of marijuana which is a genuine gift from the federal government courtesy of our President!

Experts, and I do mean real financial experts and economists, are calling the cannabis industry the single largest business opportunity in the history of capitalism. The Economist is calling it “transformative” but you›ll probably just call it «how I made my millions» unless you are one of my idiot critics who are blind and ignorant to the realities of marijuana and the cannabis industry that will continue to grow and spread with or without the inclusion of the CNMI. So do we continue to stare a gift horse in the mouth or do we take the gift and enjoy it?

Now if there is a better idea out there on how to live with and how to deal with marijuana in our society other than by legalization, I will be glad to listen. But I think most of us now know that common sense tells us it is time to stop kidding ourselves and to face the true realities of marijuana being our least problem when compared to alcohol, tobacco and “ice”! It’s really idiotic to fight against legal marijuana, which can actually deter the use of alcohol, tobacco and “ice,” unlike the lying politically motivated myth that was told and sold that marijuana is a gateway drug when it was really the criminalizing of marijuana that opened the gates for the hard drugs. Marijuana will actually cause a decrease in the use of alcohol and “ice” and it is the least of our problems when it comes to social vices with the undeniable potential for lucrative financial rewards from a legal cannabis industry. The CNMI would literally be idiotic to continue wasting revenues and resources to fight against marijuana given the realities and that most states are now legalizing it because all the bad myths about marijuana have literally been destroyed. We should be trying to make money through legalization to help DPS who is literally begging for revenues so they can be better equipped to fight the real drug (“ice”) and crimes like robberies and murder driven by “ice”!

I’m sure many citizens in the community will want to thank those on the Hill for continuing to work toward legalization because the CNMI would look like a real idiot compared to Guam and other states to have come so close to legalization with the Senate hearings that clearly revealed an overwhelming support for full legalization, only to miss the darn flight for prosperity, standing around looking the gift horse of legalization in the mouth. It truly seems like we are on the right track to full legalization given the growing support on the Hill since the Senate hearings and the only questions may be how much money can we make and what to do with all the money that will literally be falling from the sky with tourist arrivals skyrocketing. Thank you senators and representatives for keeping the hope of legalization alive and well! Legalization is coming soon!

Speaking of idiotic mentality, it reminds me that we must continue to pray for Francisco Agulto who seems to think his quest to prove plagiarism and his knowledge of Macbeth was more important than what my letter was actually about—improving our politics and politicians. Readers already know from Francisco’s history of destructive rock throwing that he would us anything to throw at me. But I wonder what Francisco will look up to find wrong with this letter because only a real idiot would try to find a way to fight an industry that will be worth in the trillions, especially when wisdom and logic tells us that we will have to deal with and live with marijuana, legal or not, forever! Only a person who is not fully educated about marijuana would want to maintain a war against marijuana legalization, so if you are against legalization, Francisco, you may need to get educated before you throw another rock at me! I think most readers will agree that smart people care more about fixing our politics and how to get a piece of the trillion dollar cannabis industry pie and to hell with the idiotic foolishness about Macbeth and plagiarism. Oh, I almost forgot, here’s your rock back, Francisco, and thanks for the platform and the laughs!
