NCLEX-RN preparatory course offered this summer
The CNMI Area Health Education Center, through Northern Marianas College’s Community Development Institute, is sponsoring a preparatory course for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for Registered Nurses this summer 2015.
To become a licensed nurse, candidates in the CNMI and in the U.S. mainland must first pass the NCLEX. To qualify to register for the course, students must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. The deadline to enroll in this NCLEX-RN Exam Preparatory Course is Wednesday, July 8, 2015.
The CNMI Area Health Education Center will subsidize this preparatory course for those who are CNMI Legal Residents (i.e. United States citizens and U.S. Green Card holders). Due to limited funding, subsidy will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Note: Students must submit a copy of their highest nursing degree and a valid ID, passport, driver’s license, or birth certificate for verification upon registration.
The preparatory course dates will run during the following days: July 11, 2015 to Aug. 23, 2015 from 4pm to 7:00pm (Saturday), from 1pm to 4pm (Sunday), for a total of 42 hours. The preparatory course will be offered at the discounted price of $419.
