The 11th Annual Joint Military Travel Fairs were conducted and organized by the Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR) unit on each base. The first travel fair was conducted on June 10 at the Coral Reef Fitness Center Gymnasium on Andersen Air Force Base, with an estimated 550 attendees. The second fair was held on June 11 at the Charles King Fitness Center Gymnasium on Naval Base Guam, with approximately 350 attendees.
“The MVA’s participation in the annual military travel fairs is our greatest opportunity to meet face-to-face with military personnel and their families stationed on Guam,” said MVA Marketing manager Bruce Bateman. “Rota, Tinian, and Saipan are excellent, nearby holiday options for them.”
The MVA operated a promotional booth and distributed information about Saipan, Tinian, and Rota at both events. Calls on travel agents and dive shops were made while the delegation was on Guam. (MVA)
