MVA seminars in Japan draw record participation
The Marianas Visitors Authority attracted a record number of participants to its annual Marianas Sales Seminars held this year in Japan.

The seminars promote the destination to travel trade and media representatives and introduces new marketing plans, including upcoming campaigns and events, plus an introduction to new on-island attractions. This year’s seminars on May 27-29, 2015, attracted 160 participants in Tokyo, 54 participants in Osaka, and 70 participants in Nagoya.
“The Marianas Seminars are an opportunity for us to give our travel trade and media representatives the latest destination information they need to help us sell the Northern Marianas. We also reaffirm existing partnerships and establish new contacts,” said MVA Marketing manager, Bruce Bateman. “We see this year’s attendance numbers as a sign that our efforts to sustain the Japan market during their economic downturn and now rebuild the market are going to pay off.”
Tourism partners also participating in the seminars were: Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, Aqua Resort Club, Country House/Moby Dick, Couture Naoko Wedding, Sand Castle, Saipan/Sea Touch, Hyatt Regency Saipan, PIC Saipan, PDI, Grandvrio Resort Saipan, Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan, Kanoa Resort Saipan, Marianas Resort & Spa, Marianas Trekking, LaoLao Golf & Resort, Northern Marianas College, Rota Resort and Country Club, and T-Galleria.
