About 200 soldiers and airmen from the Guam National Guard will be conducting a unit formation, or Command Run, through the beautiful village of Agana Heights today, June 26, beginning at approximately 5:30am.

The Guam Guard members will run an approximate two-mile route within the village, starting and ending at the Agana Heights Baseball Field, right before the Agana Heights Gym.

The run will pass through Chalan Macajna, Calle Tutujan Ave, Paasan Dr, S-2, Ulloa Untalan Ave, Joseph Cruz Ave, Chalan Gumayuus W, Fonte Rd, Luna Ave, Gutierrez St, Joseph Cruz Ave, Vicente Salamo Dr, and Frank Javier Ave.

The run is intended to showcase the Guam National Guard’s esprit de corps, pride, morale, and the organization’s commitment to the community.

Residents along the run route can expect to hear military cadence as soldiers and airmen pass through their neighborhood.

Motorists are requested to drive slowly and proceed with caution as they drive around and through the village of Agana Heights from 5am to 8am during the Guard’s Command Run this Friday. (PR)
