The Top 4 teams advance to the semifinals where No. 1 will face No. 4 and the second-ranked squad will take on the third-seeded team. The winners of the one-game, knockout semis will move on to the finals, while the losers clash for third place honors.
Route 33 ended the regular season with an easy 15-0 win over the Jokers Wonderpool Aces (123-147) after their opponents decided to no longer show up.
Route 33 finished with a division-best 172-98 record, 16 wins ahead of Wild Bill’s (156-114), which edged the Jokers Homeboyz for second place (155-115). Wild Bill’s and the Homeboyz will face each other in the knockout semifinals.
Wild Bill’s sealed the No. 2 spot after another default win, 15-0, over the last placed Barcode Breakers (64-206). The Homeboyz could have finished second, but they only managed a 9-6 decision against Jonny’s Team SCS (110-160).
The Abyss Titans (148-122), despite an 8-7 loss to the Smoke Pub Magic 8-Ball (143-127), clinched the last semifinals berth. Sister team Rack ‘N’ Roll was two games short at 146-124, after scoring a 12-3 win over the Barcode Hobbies Deadshot (133-137).
Over at the Tuesday League, the Hustlers and Voyagers have two playdates left in order to determine which team will seal the top ranking. The Hustlers hold a 159-11 record, closely followed by the Voyagers’ 157-113 slate.
The Hustlers failed to further distance themselves from the Voyagers after an 8-7 setback against the Jokers STR8 Shooters. The Voyagers, on the other hand, kept within striking distance following a 10-5 crushing of the Smoke Pub Ali’I Destroyers.
Both the STR8 Shooters and the Destroyers are in contention for the last semis berth as they are currently tied at 130-140.
The Abyss Crazy 8 holds the No. 3 ranking (141-129) after posting a 13-2 triumph against the Abyss Homeboyz II.
Results of last Tuesdays matches were not yet available at press time. On June 16, The Voyagers will close out their campaign against the Crazy 8, while the Hustlers visit the Homeboyz II and the Destroyers host the STR8Shooters.
