Emergency power interruption today in Garapan

Share

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. will conduct an emergency power interruption today, June 3, to install a meter in Garapan.

At 5:30am, CUC will temporarily interrupt power to customers in the vicinity of Coral Tree Ave., Palm St., Paseo De Marianas, Date St., and Orchid St. in Garapan to allow safe access to crews who will install a meter in the area.

Installation efforts are expected to take approximately one hour to complete, at which time power will be restored to the area.

CUC customers in the same area were also temporarily without power Tuesday at 3pm, when crews removed a burnt meter socket in the same location. Work on the project took less than an hour to complete and service was restored to the area immediately afterwards.
