Motheread/Fatheread partners with BoH to promote financial literacy

CNMI Motheread/Fatheread Family Literacy Program continues to promote financial literacy through partnerships with the Bank of Hawaii.

Bank of Hawaii officers Joanne Aldan and Herminio Matsumoto presented at the San Vicente Elementary School from 5pm to 7pm last April. Close to 20 participants attended the seminar at the SVES Home of the Canaries.

To cap off the festivities, parent trainer Debbie Canete’s Adult Course celebrated their completion ceremony earlier that day. School principal Paulette Sablan and vice principal, Ana Guerrero assisted CNMI Motheread program coordinator Viola Deleon Guerrero in recognizing and congratulating the parents and children.

Graduating parents include Didith Pacia, Evonne Cabrera, Jack Camacho, Rhonda Gross, Eva Moises, Michele Joab, Anita Perez, and Jenny DLGuerrero.

Story Exploring instructor Ignacia Reyes proudly congratulated Arvin Peter Honjias, Matt Pacia, Bryce Camacho, Martha Cabrera, Omari Joab, Daniel Joab, Theo Joab, Phoenix Gross, Elyna Deleon Guerrero, and Victoria Torres for successfully completing the Story Exploring Course.

CNMI Motheread/Fatheread would also like to extend a great big thank you to the San Vicente School, administration, and the families of the school for warmly inviting CNMI Motheread/Fatheread into their classes
