Mixblood II, Try Luck , Na’Gupu Too! lead standings

SOS Bar & Grill’s Mixblood Shooters II, Jonny’s Bar & Grill’s Try Luck, and Naked Fish Bar & Grill’s Na’Gupu Too! are leading their respective Saipan Dart Electronic Dart Association divisions after conclusion of this week’s 2012 Winter/Summer Bud Light Dart League matchups.

Mixblood Shooters II endured a bitter 8-9 upset to fourth-ranked 101 Proofers (124-114) on Monday, but maintains a three-game lead over the eight-team A-division with its overall win-loss record of 147-91.

Bammy’s Bar & Grill’s Bud Brothers (144-94) is riding shotgun just three games back after notching a 10-7 home victory over Sand’s Juvy Predators (106-132), while third place Sabalu (136-102) edged out Naked Fish Boyz (110-128), 9-8, on the road.

In addition, Bammy’s Celebrity (110-128) walloped last place Primos (75-163), 13-4, on the road at VFW Post 3457.

Notables include a High In-170 by Primos’ Jeff Pangelinan and a High Out-143 by Mixed Blood II’s Manding Legaspi.

Also last Monday, Ladies Division’s Try Luck torched Naked Fish’s Man Amigas (114-96), 12-3, at home to improve its card to 144-66.

The Man Amigas are tied for third place with Joe’s Just Like Dat (114-96) which made it past the Daffodils, 9-6, at Joe’s, while VFW’s B-52 Shooters (138-172) bulleted into second place after ripping through the Reapers (96-114), 14-1, in a road match at 19th Hole.

In other results, Bammy’s Momes’i Mei (9-111) pelted SOS’s Daarty Deedz (59-151), 13-2, at home.

Notables include a High In-160 by two-time league top gun Aida Laniyo of Try Luck and a High Out-146 by her teammate Matrina Lisua.

In the Tuesday B Division, Na’Gupu Too! defeated SOS’ third-ranked Mixblood Shooters II (128-82), 9-6, on the road last Tuesday to improve to 133-77.

However, Sea Bridge’s Proofers (129-81) sit just four games back in second chair after securing a 10-5 nod over Good Guys I (86-124) in a road pairing held at Joe’s.

Meanwhile, Jonny’s fourth place Star Maharot (107-103) schooled sister team Dosukebe Boyz (79-131), 8-7, in a home draw; and Poseidon’s K-1 Scorpions (90-120) went into Naked Fish and defeated the Dartaholiks (88-122), 9-6.

Notables include a High In-152 by MIxblood II’s Bernard Paras and a High Out-156 by Dartaholiks’ Dexter Mendiola.
