Live entertainment sought for 2012 MMAC

The 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer committee is currently seeking individuals or groups interested in performing live at the largest annual cancer fundraising event in the Northern Mariana Islands.
“We’re inviting all bands, dance groups, singers, and other live entertainers to help support the battle against cancer by volunteering your time at the 2012 MMAC,” said MMAC public relations committee chairman Christopher A. Concepcion. “We have several spots open throughout the night and early morning. With the MMAC being an overnight event, and with this year being our 10th anniversary, we need enthusiastic entertainers willing to help get the crowd going from 6pm to 6am.”

The Marianas March Against Cancer is the signature fundraising event for the Commonwealth Cancer Association, a volunteer-led non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that ensures all funds raised are spent entirely in the CNMI on cancer patient services, cancer awareness programs and other cancer-related activities. The 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer will be held on April 27-28 at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.
