Find out more about integrated resorts—for free

Share

Are you familiar with the industry of integrated resorts? Would you like to find out what an integrated resort is? What do you expect from an integrated resort? Will you benefit from it? Will you be left out from any opportunity, if any, from an integrated resort? Are our people qualified to work at jobs in integrated resort? Will social problems and crimes rise and impact our island lifestyles? How will our quality of life be impacted by integrated resorts?

An opportunity to learn and understand integrated resort for yourself is now being offered, thanks to the favorable response by Best Sunshine International, Ltd. to sponsor the “Integrated Resort Fact Finding Contest.” A group of up to 10 Saipanese U.S. citizen locals will travel abroad to a country that has integrated resorts to find out for themselves what such an industry does and how it impacts the social and economic livelihoods of the people. They will interact with various sectors of integrated resorts, including consumers, local residents, visitors, clients, management and staff, regulatory institutions, law enforcement, and compile their facts and findings to frame their perspectives independently and voluntarily. Upon their return they will appear on John Gonzales LIVE to personally share what they saw, experienced, and learned from the fact-finding trip about integrated resorts.

The contest runs up until 12pm on May 25, 2015, the deadline by which an interested contestant or applicant must submit a one-page essay justifying why he/she is interested and what he/she expects from participating in the “Integrated Resort Fact Finding Contest.” Selected winners will be notified and will travel abroad immediately after they are notified. Criteria for selection are:

• U.S. citizen, locals domiciled on Saipan, Northern Marianas;

• Holders of valid U.S. passports no less than six months from expiration and able to travel in a day’s notice;

• Must be 18 years or older; and

• Must be any of the following status: retiree, college student, community leader, unemployed but employable.

Submit essay electronically to johngonzaleslive@gmail.com no later than the deadline of 12pm on Monday, May 25, 2015. (PR)
