A woman allegedly got drunk during a Mother’s Day brunch celebration and slapped and scratched her boyfriend, then punched a police officer at their house in Chalan Kanoa.

Jeanie Dison, 26, was arrested for assault and battery, disturbing the peace, and child neglect.

At yesterday’s hearing, Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman allowed Dison to post a $100 cash bail and $900 in unsecured bond.

Police detective Vincent A. Igisaiar stated in his report that police officer Bradford John C. Peter responded Sunday at 3:04pm to a house in Chalan Kanoa District IV, where a caller reported a domestic dispute.

Igisaiar said that when Peter arrived at the scene, he met with Dison, who yelled at him and punched him on the chest.

Peter also met with the boyfriend, who had red marks on his face and chest. The man told the officer that Dison slapped and scratched him.

The boyfriend, Dison and their son had just come from a Mother’s Day brunch at a hotel when Dison, who had drank wine at the brunch, allegedly began yelling at her boyfriend. He tried to calm her down because their child was with them but Dison allegedly refused to listen, then slapped, punched, and scratched him. A police officer then arrived but she also refused to listen to the officer.
