Tourism industry, partners clean up Garapan

The Japan Saipan Travel Association did its semi-annual cleanup of Garapan on April 29, 2015, drawing 54 participants, including several Japanese travel agents who were touring Saipan at the time.

JSTA was again joined by the Marianas Visitors Authority and a number of tourism industry companies in their efforts to pick up trash from American Memorial Park to the Carolinian Affairs Office along both roadways and the beach.

Participating local companies were Aqua Connection, Good Care, Grandvrio Resort, H.I.S., MSC, Marianas Trekking, Nippon Travel Association, PDI, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Pau Pau Tours, Seashore/Northern Marianas Dive Operators Association, Tasi Tours/PMT, and World Resort. Off-island participants were from H.I.S, JTB World Vacations, Keikyu Travel, Odakyu Travel, Pacific Micronesian Tours, R&C Tours, Tobu Travel, and Delta Air Lines. (MVA)
